A Board Game Night

1. Jerry, Mike, and Zoey were in the mood for a fun board game night.
2. They decided to play monopoly.
3. "I just landed on Park Place.
4. I think it is time to buy it," said Jerry after a while.
5. "You are so lucky!" said Mike.
6. "I don't have enough money."
7. "Same here," laughed Zoey.
8. "I just landed on Luxury Tax and had to pay even more."
9. "It's all part of the game.
10. You have to take risks to win," said Jerry.
11. "Yeah, but sometimes those risks don't pay off," replied Mike.
12. "Exactly, but that's why it's important to have a good strategy and not just buy properties blindly," said Zoey looking directly at Mike.
13. "I think I have had enough of Monopoly for one night," said Mike.
14. "How about we switch to something else?"
15. "Yeah, I agree.
16. I want to play Chess," replied Zoey.
17. "I will be a spectator," said Jerry.
18. Mike and Zoey spent the next hour playing chess, each trying to outsmart each other.
19. Mike's king was under threat from Zoey's queen and rook, but he was able to find a way to save it and even launch a counterattack.
20. Zoey's face lit up as as she realized she had the winning combination on the board.
21. She leaned forward in excitement and cried out, "Checkmate!"
22. "Oh, no!" cried Mike.
23. "I am terrible at Monopoly, and I am no good at chess either.
24. Congratulations, Zoey," he said.
25. "What is your plan now, Mike?" asked Jerry.
26. "Let us play poker.
27. Maybe my luck is better than my strategy skills," laughed Mike
